All-Out Fight Against Inflation
In the New Economic Program, which covers Turkey's economic business plan for the period 2019-2021, the main area in which basic policies are designed is the Fight Against Inflation.
Particularly in recent times, the upward trend in pricing as a result of speculative increases in exchange rates has led to high inflation.
The current situation has created the need for an All-Out Fight Against Inflation, beyond just the struggle of public institutions or ministries.
This program, initiated under the leadership of the public to help Turkey succeed in its fight against inflation, aims to attract the voluntary support of the private sector.
In this context, all companies that want to contribute to the All-Out Fight Against Inflation Program are expected to commit to a minimum discount of 10 percent on their products and services until the end of the year.
In addition to the support of companies and brands in all sectors, banks and the public will also contribute to the process with two important applications.
Effective August 1, banks will apply a 10 percent discount on interest rates for loans provided with high interest.
