Centos Web Panel – Could not connect: Access denied for user root Solution
Our customers using Centos Web Panel may sometimes encounter MySQL root password problems when they receive updates, and sometimes for no reason. This error that appears on the screen when accessing Centos Web Panel usually displays a warning like the one below;
Could not connect: Access denied for user root@localhost'
The solution is simple. When you execute the following command via SSH, the MySQL root password will be automatically reset and printed on the screen. Y/N If a warning screen like this appears y press and enter Press a. You do not need to take any additional action;
sh /scripts/mysql_pwd_reset
